Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but there were noticeable cobwebs and spiderwebs present. The service was friendly overall, though lacking attention to detail. The location held potential but was overgrown. The dining experience offered a lovely breakfast but started late on weekends. Facilities were basic.
Upon arrival, the initial impression of the room was a bit disappointing due to the tatty appearance, damp windows, and peeling wallpaper. However, the room was equipped with a fridge and microwave and offered beautiful views of the garden. The service was lacking as the staff seemed confused and disorganized, failing to provide clear directions to our room in what felt like a maze-like property. Despite these setbacks, the location was convenient for exploring Altrincham or Manchester, with easy access to transportation. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the fantastic breakfast, although the facilities seemed in need of maintenance and attention.
My stay at the hotel was fabulous! The rooms were massive, and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely book here again. The only downside was that the dining experience was a bit of a letdown due to late serving times.
